The bear is the heraldic animal of Berlin, Germany, and is featured on both the city’s coat of arms and flag, so it’s no wonder than you can find (mostly) colorful bear sculptures on sidewalks while wandering around.

Some seem to be purely artistic pieces, while others are clearly linked to businesses or specific people/locations.

Here are a few selfies I took with those I found during my latest trip to that awesome city.

I’m sure there are many more bears around Berlin than those few, but hopefully I’ll see some others if I someday take another trip there.
